matthew brown says:

dont go for a 600D as a beginner as thats what i did and i regretted it im used to it now but it will be too complex for a beginner i found this out the hard way

DJscappy says:

if its not to late i would say go for the nikon mainly because they are pretty much the same but the nikon comes with a fetcher what helps teach you how to use the camera where the cannon dose not

Canon rebel t3 is a good camera, only downside, it doesn’t have 1080P video.

It honestly depends on what you are doing c:

Hi there, have you heard of “Photo SFXart Tricks” (just do a Google search for it…)? On their website you can watch a nice free video demonstrating how you can take impressive photos. This made it possible for Daniel to shoot photos that leave you with a jaw-dropping-effect after you take a look at them. I hope it works for you too.

natodemon1 says:

Hello Mr. Jason, I watched your review of NIKON D3100, but I like to see the review of NIKON D5100, so could you please share a link of any video of yours that help me to choose which one to buy of these two models of NIKON.

I guess you have a point there.I’m considering buying a bigger one now that I look at’s like….a toy.Tiny.

Avi Moore says:

No, size does matter to a lot of people. Hold this camera, then hold a bigger dslr like the d5100 or a canon 60d. They feel soo much nicer. Holding smaller dslrs like the d3100 drives me crazy. Its way too pinchy

Avi Moore says:

Neither. Canon T2i.

Wiebcraft says:

What he said…

poiboy43 says:

Can you turn off the auto-focus for the video mode?

thelittleperfections says:

the size doesn’t really matter….unless you want to impress.
It’s a pretty decent camera,I’ve used it.Works fairly well.
I guess you get what you pay for.
