make layers of the original copy on same canvas, pick da top layer n hide da rest. select a brush n delete da edges, diffrent kinds of brushes is gud.go to a diffrent layer, (select polygonal tool) nd select a chunk, not 2 big. press Ctrl Shift C to copy nd Ctrl V to paste nd it’ll paste it on a diffrent layer. go to dat layer n move it to da side make a mask, oppacity 100%black.select a brush dat its smaller den da chunk, click on it. now click Ctrl I to inverse…over n over.

goodcreativetutorial says:

do a threshold technique (Image>Adjustments>Threshold) first, before selecting and creating custom brush (Edit>Define Brush Preset). That way, the brush will be more solid.

goodcreativetutorial says:

hey I created a similar video tutorial, but I provide splash brush files to use as well as a support file, and step by step instruction from the beginning. Please see youtube(dot com)/ watch?v=ObxyucfnCIU

i agree with Rynn9. i know it’s a bit time consuming, but a step by step tutorial would really help~! THANKS! cuz with this video, i feel like you’re telling us what you did rather than how you did it.

Markus Laugesen says:
