Photoshop Tutorial – Replace the Sky ——————————————————————— So, if you’re keeping up with the progression of the movie poster series, then you have made a new image, added a background, masked out the sky and replaced the sky. Now, you’ll want to make it so the sky better conforms to the colors of the image itself. To do this, you’ll need to add a mask, because if you delete the background permanently you won’t be able to get it back, nor will you be able to remove anything in case you wish to return to your starting point. Start by grabbing the Pen Tool. Begin making points with the Pen Tool where the foreground meets the sky along the contours of the edges. Now, mark a point with the Pen Tool at each corner of the image where the sky meets the edge of the picture. Make a New Layer Mask by clicking on the icon at the bottom of the Layers panel. With the path still selected, right-click on the area you want to get rid of, then click Fill Path. Change the Contents to Black. Your sky is now gone, and you are ready to add another image in its place. You can open up a file from a pre-saved image by pressing Ctrl+O (Command+O for Mac) and selecting an image. Now, drag this pre-saved image into the image you just deleted the sky from. Move the pre-saved image into an area you feel is a
